"Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep" In Mara's ward, the sound of the visual monitor echoes in the back ground. Beta Maverick and Beta Cara, Mara's parents sits in opposite direction. Both their gaze focusing on Mara body lying motionlessly on the bed. Her hands are in each of their hands.
Mara's mother's eyes wields up tears, which she dabs clean with a napkin.
"Don't cry dear, she will be fine." Mara's father reassures, stretching his hands to comfort her. More sad tears spill from her mother's eyes upon seeing her daughter in this condition. She was her only daughter and just thinking about that broke her.
