Aria's POV
A shocked gasp ripples through me, Lucien restraining Raymond. Chloe has got to be joking. Unanswered questions flooded my mind, while I press Chloe further.
"What? Why? How did this happen?" I fondles with my own words. Chest tightening, while my head searches for an answer.
"He didn't say so. He just cut the mind link after that." Her voice grows even more worried. I need to see Lucien, I need an explanation to all this,
"Okay, Chloe. I'll get back to you.'' I say and proceed to disconnect the mind link, even when I heard her trying to say something. My heart is pounding so hard in my chest, as anger surges through me. Still fuming with anger, I step out. I need answers and Lucien will be giving them to me.
