I blinked, surprised when Walker asked about my ex-boyfriend's name.
"Why do you want to know? Planning to hire a hitman?" I teased.
Walker chuckled, shaking his head.
"Just curious about the guy who was foolish enough to let you go."
I frowned, remembering.
"His name was Ben Davis. We were high school sweethearts and moved in together after graduation," I shared.
I took a sip of my wine, glancing over my shoulder at Jayden and Dominic outside. They seemed to be getting along now.
I was still mad at Jayden for his earlier behavior and had left him outside, refusing to talk to him.
Dominic stood up and walked back into the kitchen.
"I'll be out most of today and tomorrow. If you need anything, Jayden has my number. See you soon," he told Walker before leaving.
