Kash choked on his spit while Candy and Twila were both smacking at Grier as if questioning why she held back such critical information.
“Why would you give her half your company?” Cain made a show of unbuttoning his belt and his fly, “I’ll do whatever Grier is doing two-fold for a fraction of that.”
Nick laughed at Cain’s movements, “she already held signing authority for the company. I realized in dating her, it puts her job in jeopardy and further it puts me in a position of power over her. I didn’t want Grier to feel I was coercing her to be with me. If we’re on equal footing as business partners instead of employer and employee, it removes the inequality from our relationship.”
