Adam and Gina were in Adam’s bedroom at the Glebe share house. They were trying to delay using the heroin as long as possible. Neither said it, but they both knew it. Adam told her, ‘Hathai said smoking heroin is called chasing the dragon.’
‘I read that somewhere, I think,’ Gina said. ‘Was she beautiful, Hathai?’
