Chapter Twenty Four - Settling and Struggling
Serenity's POV School work was hard as it is. I hadn't enjoyed the work load before motherhood, and I enjoyed it even less now. Being at home and less focused than I was at school made becoming unmotivated easy before. Getting distracted by a newborn every few minutes made focusing even harder, and made motivation almost non-existent. Luka was a grade ahead of me. He was having an easier time learning at home than I was. He was able to learn by reading his books and completing worksheets and taking his own notes. I could too, but for me, I learned better with a teacher in front of me. My mom and Luka's took turns trying to teach us.
