‘I’m so sorry to put this on you,’ Lesya said. I reassured her. Putting her up wasn’t a problem at all. It seemed natural to help each other out, faithful friends that we were. If we aren’t prepared to help those closest to us, then who will we help? We may all find ourselves in need, one day. Who will come to our aid if, in the past, we’ve ignored the plight of others?
