"We should head back," she said, pulling the bag over her shoulder. The fish squirmed, and Barrel laughed. He grabbed the bag from her and pointed up the hill. "Lead the way, madam." Eva's heart wrenched. She liked how happy and funny he was. She liked seeing him smile and seeing the carefree laughter. She wished it would last forever. Eva rolled her eyes and headed in the direction they had come. They walked, chatting about the weather and the next destination.
