The dining room was silent. Everyone seemed to stopped eating.Her mom stood to follow her but her dad stopped her"Maria let her be, our Connie is strong ,she will come around" , her father said but Mikael's dad was not having it. "Mikael follow the girl and make sure she is okay". Mikael was in shock himself, he thought his wife was agreeable, but he did not care about her cheating.he slept around too it was the bit of her sleeping with her best friend's husband that shocked him. Those two had been inseparable ever since he met them. the question still remained: what did they all see in that dude was his d**k that good or what the actual f**k did they all see in him. If he did not believe in himself he could have been spiraling now.

From the main door, he could see her in a flower garden. She seemed to be crying. He was not about to console her and hated seeing people cry. In this world full of many things to do crying was the lamest. I mean she could just grab bat and hit a wall or whatever she could come across. But hearing his dad call him, he knew he was about to get a lecture on being a man, something he was not in the mood for,so as the good person, he went towards her. she threw herself on him and it took all the self-control in him not to push her away. He stared at her shocked but chose to remain still. she smelled so good .way too good that he caught himself smiling. he lead her towards a bench at the far end of their compound. it was wet from the rains but none seemed to care at the moment. he guided her to the seat but her mind had other plans she resorted to sit on his lap.

" behave yourself Connie, you dont want to start something you wont finish , furthermore don't you want to be the bigger or no, im still Kaylee"s husband . Mikael reprimanded her . She was not the kind of women he allowed on his bed , but Connie had other flans ,she latched her lips on his Mikael was mortified but quickly recovered , he wiped his lips harshly , he felt violated , of which he was, she was bold , he smirked as he took her flushed face in. He thought she hated him ,so why was she trying to force herself on him? if she was trying to use him as rebound then she was in for a shock,

Let's get you back in the house. I'm not interested in staying here anymore. I have someone waiting for me. At that moment, his phone rung, it was Carloz his best friend and right-hand man." the girl is here , where are you ?"

"I'm coming. I had to escort my old man somewhere. "

" She is clearly throwing a tantrum , she wants to leave," Carloz, not ready to deal with the frustrated woman all alone said.

" Give her the phone, " Mikael said. At that moment, he accidentally turned on the loudspeaker button.

" Where are you, you are getting p***y elsewhere or what ?" she asked in a high shrill voice.

Connie was losing it , the woman sounded like Kaylee. " Who is that ?" she retorted angrily as she grabbed the phone .

" I just told you she cheated on you but here you are calling her. Can you have some shame or at least respect me, the b***h hurt me so don't talk to her in my father's house at least? "

Mikael stared at the damsel with anger , he knew he could not do anything to her but he was irked .

" Who are you talking to like that, Connie , lest you forget, let me remind you , i owe nothing, absolutely nothing, so don't confuse things here," he paused to look at her before continuing," I'm only here with you just because my dad said i should otherwise i would be in my house right now getting laid , you are my wife's best friend and now y some extension my fathers best friend's daughter , know your place and know peace , don't cross me little sweet Connie , i am not this sweet daily I can make you regret existing in the first place ", he sneered .

Connie couldn't help but admonish herself , she could not believe she had allowed herself to be that reckless ,she was acting jealous towards someone who couldn't care less about her . She had thought the man would team up with her to seek revenge ,but as things stood now ,she had to do it all alone.

" Let's go back in there and act like a grown up while you're there , no tears, no nothing, "Mikael ordered as he held her hand leading her to the house .
