We were crouched behind the last scrap of furniture in the room: a thin study table made of fake wood. The rest of the interior decor had become the bevy of teeth frogs nipping at our ankles. Luiz picked another one up by its feet and heaved it across the room at the Grand White Mage. It hit him with a wet slap and poofed back into a metal chair. I bit my lip, knowing we wouldn't be able to keep this up forever. And the Guardian was hiding right alongside us, her breathing shallow.
