Love Mode On

Chapter 12

Nora's POV:--

We all were chilling and enjoying ourselves in the swimming pool of the hotel that we were staying in. While everyone was swimming and throwing water's at each other, I on the other hand was sitting in the edge of the pool with my legs in the water.

There was a smile on my face seeing all my friends and other people from our college enjoying themselves. The girls were wearing sexy bikinis, showing off their figure. Except me who was wearing black one piece, which wasn't much revealing as compared to other girls.

Maybe, because I was insecure about myself and my body. After what happened with Ryan I became more insecure about myself to the point whenever I see myself in the mirror. I asked myself, 'Wasn't I was enough for him? Wasn't I was worth it for him?'

While the boys were shirtless and had a shorts on, making them look hot and attracting all the girls attention.

Feeling thirsty, I stand up and walked over to the soft drinks and drank it. When suddenly, I heard someone calling me, I turn around to see it was Mia.

"Nora, give me a hand."

"Yeah. Why not?" I smiled.

Putting the soft drink back in its place, I walked towards her, who was inside the pool. I bend towards her and gave her my hand so that she can hold my hand and come out of the pool. But before that can happen. I felt someone from behind me push me in to the pool. A horrific scream escape from my lips.

As I fell in the pool, I felt myself drowning. "HELP ME!!" I cried aloud. The fear that I always tried to shove away, came back with full force. Water was going inside my mouth and I was finding hard to breath.

I tried using my hand and legs in order to go towards the side of the pool, but my all tries were failed. My past started flashing in front of me, making my all movement frozen.

Water started pulling me inside and before I knew what's happening with me, I slipped into darkness.

Third Person's POV:--

A loud painful scream make everyone stop whatever they were doing. They glanced at the source of scream, only to get alarmed. There Nora their favourite, friendly, playful and pretty girl was drowning in the pool. Who was looking so anxious and dreaded at the moment.

Everyone was glued to their spot, still finding the situation hard and unbelievable. And a second later, she blacked out, but before they all could move forward and help her out.

Someone beat them to it. He jumped in the pool and swim towards her in such a speed, as if he was one of the best swimmer. While everyone eyes were on him, his alone was on her. His eyes held frightened look which did go noticed by everyone, especially his first love, Sarah.

Ryan held her in his arms and carry her out of the pool. He made her lay outside the pool on the ground and started shaking her, in hopes of waking her up. He started rubbing her hands, while her friends, Harry and Mia were rubbing her legs with tears in their eyes.

Everyone was out of the pool and was gathered around her, praying for her safety. But her best friend, Sophia stood with the group, looking at his fiancé, who was looking at Nora so terrified. 'Terrified of losing her?'

"Dammit. Nora, Wake up!!" Bella, one of Nora's friend weeps.

"It's not funny Nora! You are scaring the s**t out of us!" Brody, her another friend sniffles.

It's not that Sarah wasn't feeling worried for her best friend, Nora. Her heart was literally on her throat, she was badly shaken up, knowing that how Nora had Aquaphobia. Her eyes were also teary.

But seeing her fiancé, Ryan shaking Nora's body, in hopes of waking her up. He look so helpless and vulnerable. If she isn't wrong. She saw a tear slip down his eyes making her heart clench.

Seeing that whatever he did on her, wasn't enough. He did the only thing which was mostly required in the moment. He bend down until his face was in front of her. He placed his lips on her and started performing CPR on her. Not knowing that his Fiancée, Sarah who was watching all this scene. He unintentionally broke her as well. Along with Nora and somehow their both friendship too.

Sarah who was watching all this, took a step back and left. Seeing his tears for her, left her to think. 'Is something going on between Ryan and Nora? Despite Nora knowing, how Sarah was in love with him from the past several years.'

Nora's POV:--

I opened my eyes and quickly close them, adjusting to the sunlights. I coughed all the water that was inside me. I opened my eyes again to see, I was on the ground outside the swimming pool.

Harry and Mia were sitting by my leg with their puffy eyes. Their faces was a mess due to all the tears.

"NORA." Said a familiar deep husky voice, which seems to be coming quite closer around me.

My breath hitches in my throat, when my eyes met his, which was filled with tears and lot of emotions, which I can't figure out. He was so close to me, yet so far. His face was an inch away from mine. If I get up, my lips would met his. But what surprises me was he was crying for me?

Clearing my throat as an indication of how uncomfortable I was. Which Ryan seems to understand as he moves away until there was enough space between us. His ears were slightly red, making him look so cute.

I look away from him to see a big crowd was formed around us and almost everyone eye's were moist, making my heart warm and a smile appears on my lips.

"I didn't knew that you guys love me so much?" I said teasingly, making them chuckle.

"One can only wish." Evan Hanks, our Class President from the crowd retorts with a lopsided grin, wiping his tears away.

"But your tears says otherwise." I argued.

"Because I ate something earlier, which I was allergic to. And as a result I end up with this tears." He roll his eyes.

"Are you alright? Do you want us to take you to the doctor?" Mia asked me still worried.

"I am fine." I said sitting up.

But my eyes were busy finding my best friend, Sarah face. But she doesn't seems to be here. I felt a little bit disappointed. 'Wasn't she was worried about me?'

Just then everyone started leaving, after literally giving me a long lecture that I better go and take a rest.

"Sorry, Nora." Said Liam looking ashamed.

"Why?" I look at him confused.

"It was me who pushed you. You were sitting by yourself and I wanted you to enjoy with us in the pool. But I didn't know you had Aquaphobia." He said sincerely, on his knees.

"It's okay, Liam. But next time don't do something like this."

But before he could say anything. Ryan started throwing punches on him and soon blood started coming from Liam's nose. But before he could throw more, Harry stopped him.

"You are acting up as if the person you love is Nora not Sarah." Stated Mia, making his face go pale.

Automatically, my eyes went towards him. But he was looking away, scared to say something. And like always, he left without saying anything.

If only I could know what is going on in his mind........
