The breeze was cool against her face as Alexia Yoshimoto jogged along the service road, yellowed grass giving way to bare ground underfoot. She’d hit a level spot after covering steeper ground on the paved road. She had turned off behind the Mount Ada Inn and was running along the hillside above the east end of town. It was a route she chose when she needed to get away from her worries and concentrate only on the road ahead of her.
