Drew
"Fck all that s**t Sweet, what the hell was that," I barked at Sa'Nia's back.
Here she is coming at me like I been MIA when her little big head ass shouldn't even be in Nevada let alone God damn me Vegas.
"Hell no bro, cut that s**t! Ain't nobody heard from yo' ass it almost three months. I know you ain't think we was just supposed to sit around Racistville,USA with nothing. You disappeared and so did the work, so don't come at Me like that mutha fcker."
She proceeded to go in on my ass, padding out of the kitchen with a blunt dangling from her lips and a Bud Weiser in each hands.
She wasn't wrong though, it had been a lot going on lately. Hell I just moved an entire enterprise clear across the damn world, of course something was going to slip. I didn't mean for it to be them though.
"Look fck all that. I'm here now and you and I both know s**t about to get hot. What are you doing? Have you even started packing yet? Where is Princess?" I popped up off the couch and started moving.
I was damn near down the hallway when I realized she wasn't moving. When I got back to the front, there she was on the couch, cracking open her beer. Wtf?
"Sa'Nia man, what are you doing man? Don't do this right now please." The look in her eyes as she chugged her brew told me all I needed to know. Aw hell!
"Ahhh. Don't worry big bro. Fire this up while I get dressed. It'll be okay." She wiped her mouth with the back of her hand and past me the blunt before walking off towards her room.
"f**k, f**k, f**k," I couldn't say nothing else. I know Sweet and I know my brother. Yup, s**t was definitely about to go up in fcking flames.
Akeem
"Ahhhhh. Where is she," I flung the closest thing to me across the room. It's been damn near 2 f*****g hours, and nothing. I literally had every man in the city on her ass, and still nothing.
"Boss, your bleeding," Meech pointed out, but made sure not to come any closer.
The blood didn't mean s**t to me. I felt like I was dying. I couldn't breathe, I was starting to black out.
The loud vibration in my pocket brought me back down to earth a bit. Whoever this better have some God damn answers for me.
"Speak... NOW"
"Are you sure?"
"Good work. Keep looking."
Before I could press that big red button on the phone, I was snatching my jacket off the couch and was heading to the door.
"Yo Meech nigga, let's ride."
30 minutes Later
"Yo, wtf is this? You sure this right," I asked Meech, looking out the window. This can't be right, we were so far out we were damn near in the f*****g desert. Wasn't s**t around but a gas station a couple blocks uo and what looks to be a motorcycle shop that ain't been opened in years in front of me.
"This is where the GPS brought us to boss."
"You know you don't Have to do this 'Keem bro, I could pull off right now we can be on our way back home man. Let this go bro."
I looked up from my phone GPS up into the rear view and I was met with what seemed to be an almost scared look In Meech's. I knew he was no longer coming to me as a subordinate, he was coming from the space of being one of the only people I am comfortable enough with calling a friend. We been down since the playground but nothing was gone stop me from doing what I came here to f*****g do.
If I'm right and that was Sa'Nia Son, that means she ain't f*****g dead, that means she ran. She walked out on the family, she thought she could walk out on me! She knew the rules.
I placed my phone in my pocket and put on my gloves before I opened my door and pulled my .9 from behind my back.
"Let's go nigga."
Five steps later Meech was banging on the door and I was waiting. For what, I don't know?
When that door finally opened though, I got eye full of some s**t I could have never predicted.
