CHAPTER 5 Dex headed into his house on a separate section of the ranch after locking his pick-up truck. Though a single-level home, its exterior shared similar features with the main house, but it boasted a large front garden Dex loved to tend to. The interior was also different—he’d used the more masculine colors of grey, dark blue, and brown with a splash of teal, though the occasional Chloe toy in bright neon colors always managed to find its way in.
