CHAPTER 10
Dex froze. Having Zoey here for an interview and helping him out was fine and dandy, but staying for dinner? What was Becca thinking? Dex was certain she was up to something.
“Okay, sure,” Zoey said.
That quick? He couldn’t imagine a beautiful woman like her spending the evening alone while on vacation. Surely she must already have plans for the evening. Didn’t she mind being in such close quarters with his family after how the blind date had gone?
“Great,” Becca said with a smile on her face. “I’ll see you at seven.” She closed the door behind her.
Dex let loose a breath. Thank goodness Becca and Max were gone. It had been hard keeping himself from glancing at Zoey every two seconds. Becca would have picked that up in a heartbeat.
But now they were alone in the house.
