The laughter from the dinner table persisted into the night while Rosalia could focus and play board games. Her focus faltered here and there when certain aspects in the game were somewhat related to her secret world.
Her mother, ever vigilant, noticed this and sent her to bed even with the excuse that she wasn't tired. Her health was the most important and tomorrow the search for a specialist would begin. Someone with the knowledge of concussions and possible side effects.
Rosalia went to her room and went to her bed made with navy sheets and silver comforter ready for an occupant. Her room, clean as a whistle with walls a blue periwinkle in color full of memories. Hopping in she grabbed the tablet once more for another trip to her wonderland.
Her wonderland looked like a train wreck and there was no one in immediate sight. The tree looked proud and it fit in the majesty of the surrounding area almost as if a mage was waiting there to give the brave hero their quest to slay the dragon. But there wasn't a mage but rather the dragon at the base of the tree waiting for the wanderer to direct her to the new home.
Tothaz sat in the empty field of glowing flowers and towering trees. The place was now magnificent but not safe now that the ebon knew where to look for Rosalia. If the world was free of the menace from the beginning then maybe wanderers wouldn't die in a war that they are not involved in. They disappear leaving their physical possessions here and never functioning properly in their world. It's an awful sacrifice for a never ending war.
The joyful noises from Rosalia brought him from his dark thoughts and lifted his spirits slightly. This golden light of hope is overwhelming in reassurance and he has to protect her with his life.
“Well you doing okay? There isn't any home left here for you so where do you live now?” The rambling questions being fairly normal only after a few days comforted him as he transformed into his dragon form.
“Let's go there; I wanted to make sure you got there in one piece and I think Bion has something to tell you.” Tothaz said. Rosalia just hopped onto his back ready for a ride in the night sky but she didn't need a genie to loan her a magic carpet to do so.
The ride to a nearby mountain top was tranquil as the stars illuminated the sapphire sky. Tothaz was always happy to fly in the clouds as they are untroubled by the difficulties in the world. To be truly neutral on the matters of the world is an impossible goal but there nonetheless.
Bion stood at the door or cave entrance waiting for his letter. If the letter does not appear then he can't go to Alasarryin but if it does then the ball is going to be grand. As if on cue Tothaz appears with Rosalia and he has no courage without proof of going to invite her. Rosalia, his new best friend that he met only a few rotations ago, was the only person he wanted to share this event with.
“Bion what's with the long face?” Rosalia asked then she ran into the emerald zeva, dropping her. She sat on the cold floor as she looked up relieved that she didn't fall off the mountain. She saw Bion in tears clutching the zeva as it started to glow brighter. Tothaz, now in human form, was happy at the sight in front of him. That light showed his acceptance into the school; he changed history.
“You've been invited to participate in Alasarryin and learn the beneficial skills from the experts here. This acceptance letter is an honor and will only be granted once so if you refuse it will result in you losing zeva however if you accept then you have to appear at the Ball. The Ball is an opportunity to meet the experts and to have an opportunity to specify what you want to study. You will be expected to show your flame at the entrance however your guest, only one, will not have to. To accept this invitation please use zeva to absorb the emerald flame.” was spoken and it filled the entrance to the cave. Bion didn't waste time to accept this invitation and an explosion of zeva lit the area in the immediate area that even those at Twilight could see.
“Ball? School? What is happening?” Rosalia said after the light dissipated.
“He's making history.” was all that Tothaz said. To use zeva and to get into Alasarryin in under a term is impossible. This world now has a new status quo which will make the world stutter.
Chimera felt the acceptance and cursed “Gamla vis Hruga usk itr.” it threatened her that another made it. Her ebon was going to feel the number of natives this gore.
“Worried this gore? Don't you fight Rosalia in a few gores? Can't die now.” A’ma’rith joked lounging in the throne room. It didn't matter but the future losses might.
“Whatever, find Alaesarryin I've got a plan to make finding her and trapping her easier.” was the last thing she said back.
