Training with Tothaz

Rosalia turned her tablet on and saw the button appear. Pushing it the moment she saw it she was transported through the garden and appeared at Tothaz's and Bion's home. This place change was due to the amulet and her desire to be there. She looked around and saw the world in light of Soalara. The sky had a permanent sunset color and Soalara had a soothing type of light.

She noticed that she was dressed in the outfit that Bion made and made a sound of joy startling Tothaz. Tothaz expected to see an ebon in guise of a child and ran out to obliterate it, scared Rosalia when a hand of zeva reached out to crush her.

A frightful shout and her chant later Tothaz was knocked back on the ground. Rosalia realized her mistake and ran to him saying in a panicked tone, "Oh my goodness I'm so so so sorry you frightened me and I panicked. Please don't hate me I'm so sorry."

He sat in total confusion at the level of control she has over her zeva. It felt like he ran into a wall of diamond the color of gold. He was surprised and pleased at the same time, she really is the strongest wanderer to ever appear.

Getting up he stopped Rosalia in her apology and said, "You're fine but your zeva needs training. You're strong but we need to work on your proficiency. This can be done here or on your planet. Just be careful when doing that. However today I'm going to teach you how to see ebon."

"Ebon?" She asked never being told what it is. She didn't really care for her zeva or anything like that. This place was her video game and she is determined to learn all that she can.

"They are darkness with blood stained eyes with no care for people anywhere. There are classes like any civilization: Titro, Warriors, Laaghon, and then Cthac. Titro born from wanderers appearing in cafes there are quite few of them in comparison to the Warriors and Laaghon. Warriors hunt for Chimera and are born from her giving them their orders and strength. Laaghon do surveillance and report to Chimera working closely with the Warriors for peak efficiency. Cthac is Chimera's pride and joy her strongest Warrior born from the blood of..."

He explained the ebon in more detail than she was expecting and was getting bored. She started to wander around the field. It still was full of the flowers from before but in more abundance, not that she noticed her power feeding the fauna. Her chant from earlier had caused the nearby trees to grow substantially.

Tothaz stopped his explanation and watched the young wanderer enjoying herself and caught a glimpse of the trees growing. It was impossible but there they are growing larger and the seeds were now saplings. He also caught a glimpse of Laaghon looking at Rosalia through the ever growing trees.

He motioned her to come over which she followed with a confused look. He said, "I'm going to show you the ebon and how you can see them. Don't be frightened but this may hurt."

He grabbed her hand and pulled her close to put his other hand on her forehead. Unsure of what to do Rosalia kinda stood still. She heard Tothaz say, "Muellen Tholam."

A flash of sapphire enveloped them and she saw the creation of life on Rosé and Earth. She experienced suffering beyond imagine and joy at unbelievable levels. This went on for only a moment for Tothaz but Rosalia was there for an eternity.

Then it was over. She forgot the places and faces she saw in that brief moment but the feelings and emotions remained. Her face covered in many emotions looked for her mother who wasn't there and she couldn't get home until sunset so she held it in the best that she could.

He looked at her prepared for a breakdown and saw none. He finally said something when he heard the ebon in the forest move.

"We cant stand here doing nothing we either purify them now or run for a bit then fight. What do you wanna do?" He asked already prepared to transform and fly off with her. To his astonishment she replied breathlessly, "I see them. Why are they in pain?"

She not only could see them but wasn't frightened but rather she felt sorry for them. Monsters that killed for fun were in pain? How is that even possible? He wondered almost out loud. But this hesitation allowed the ebon to strike and to hurt Rosalia but not to kill her as to the Chimera had instructed.

She walked toward them with tears in her eyes and softly said "Etopeful reunon." Then her golden zeva flashed and a dense as diamond wall pushed out around her. The last time she purified it was by accident and she was unaware; this time she could see pained souls after her and Tothaz so she had to protect him even if she failed and they had to run.

Her zeva warm and bright reached the ebon and they vanished like last time into nothing. Though the Warriors and Laaghon being faster and stronger not all of them were purified so they were able to escape the fate.

She sighed in relief when they were relatively safe. She smiled a watery smile back at Tothaz who was afraid of the consequences of her power. Her strength only foreshadows torment and it will be awful for her.

How can she smile? The pain she is in at home must be immense and after her ebon awakening her emotions must be crazy. She said they were in pain does that mean that the ebon that seemingly come from nowhere but Chimera are peoples souls taken from their resting place? Why couldn't he feel what she is describing? All these questions ran rampant in his head then as he was gonna ask one she collapsed on the ground.
