Chapter 8 - The First Kiss

Kenzie's P.O.V

Today I woke up with a smile on my face, the sun was shining and birds were tweeting. My alarm hadn't went off so I knew it was early. I looked at my clock to see it was only 5:00AM. I decided to go for a little jog to keep my self fit. I ran for about 20-30 mins before I bumped into Mark. " Oh, hey Mark." I stated politely, not trying to come across rude or anything, " I didn't know you came on morning jogs." " Hey." Mark said, " Ye it helps me relax and think about the day ahead." We ended up jogging together and getting to know each other a lot better. I realized he wasn't that grumpy old Mark I first met. Then the topic of my dad came up, and you could tell by the look of his face he didn't really want to talk about it.

"Look, I know your father hasn't been in your life a lot but he wants to and hopefully you will see him soon." He said to me. I just nodded and carried on jogging. After another 30 mins we went home and I ran upstairs to get ready for school. On my way up I accidentally ran into Phil. " Hey, where have you been?" Phil asked me confused. As he saw my sweat patches all over me. " I went for a jog and bumped into Mark." I replied and he just nodded and walked downstairs. I ran into my room and threw on some skinny black jeans and a top with my lever jacket and boots and ran downstairs to grab some toast. I said bye to everyone and hopped on my bike and rode of into the distance, with my hair flying freely in the wind. As always today went quick and before I knew I had math. Also today was Friday and I only had one more lesson after lunch which was also math. I walked into Mr. Daniels' room and headed to my seat. I looked at him and he looked right back.

The lesson went fast and before I knew everyone had left and once again I was standing in front of him. I looked into his eyes and walked closer towards him. He put his hands on my waist and pulled me closer in. I put my hands through he soft, silky hair and kissed his neck. I looked at him and started unbuttoning his shirt. " You must be hot." I said with a laugh, " Because your all red and flustered, like I was the other day." I leaned in a kissed him on the cheek and went to walk away but he grabbed my arm and spun me around to face him. He looked at me with glee, like he had just planned something amazing. Suddenly, He grabbed my waist and started to pull me close, I looked up at him and he looked down at me. Without any word he smashed his lips onto mine, my whole world fell apart, as I felt the kiss deepen within every second. After a few minutes, we both pulled away struggling for air, we both gazed at each other for a while. Then, I said " I better go, Madison is waiting for me, but maybe i'll see you after lunch." He nodded and kissed me on the cheek. I turned around to walk out and he slapped my ass. I just giggled and looked back. He smiled and I went to meet Madison.
