Chapter 5 - The First Day of School

'Beep, Beep, Beep.' I rose from my bed " What is that horrible noise?" I said to myself. I got up and saw an alarm clock on the floor, by the door. I walked over to it and turned it off. I sat on my bed wondering who put it there. I walked to the bathroom to grab a shower and saw Phil. " Morning Phil, do you know who put the alarm in my room." I asked him. He started smirking and said " Ye, I put in there so you would get up in time for school." He giggled. I rolled my eyes and walked into the bathroom. I turned the shower on and jumped in it. After my very relaxing shower, I went into my room and put on my clothes. Then I dried my hair, and quickly braided it, threw my boots on and went downstairs. I made myself some toast and went outside. "OMG! who's is that ?" I said astonished. "Your's." I turned around and Phil was standing there. " I thought you might need something to ride to and from college, and I know that you've just riding a bike." he said. My mouth dropped. " Do you like it ?" I ran up to him and squeezed him. " I'll take that as a yes then." He started to laugh.

I jumped on the black, shiny motorbike and started riding off. It was perfect the breeze pushing past me making my hair fly in the wind. My music playing loud. I felt free. I got to school and jumped off. I walked into school and tried to find someone to tell me where I was supposed to go. I saw a teacher and asked her where to go for my first class. " Hey, to get to English you just go up this corridor and up the stairs and its the first room on the left." She said. " Thank you." I replied and started walking to English. I walked in and the teacher turned around and said " Hi, you must be McKenzie, welcome to Corning Community College, take a seat next to Madison." " Call me Kenzie." I said with a smile. I turned around and started walking over to wear I had been told to sit. " Hi Kenzie, I'm Madison." Madison said to me. I turned around to look at her because I didn't want to be rude. " Hi." I replied. " I'll show you round if you don't mind." She asked me. I just nodded and in the corner of my eye I saw her say "Yay!" The rest of the day went pretty quick. I had an ! hour break after English and Madison showed me round. Then I had Science and then we went to grab lunch. I only had one last lesson after lunch.
