“When I last saw my daughter, she was pregnant.” Michael turns to the people. An old man speaks. “I was sure that my daughter would have a cute little son.”

Michael: So have you ever met your grandson?

Old man: No, shortly before delivery my daughter was killed in an accident.

Michael: I am very sorry.

Officer: We all have lost something.

Old man: Once I had brought a lot of chocolate for my daughter, but I was forced to give all the chocolates to my wife.

Michael: What was such compulsion?

Old man: My wife was very irritable once she got angry with me and she did not talk to me for a long time.

Michael: What did you do in such a situation?

Old man: I used to buy chocolates for her, many times I had to give my daughter’s chocolate.

Michael laughs upon hearing this. “Your daughter did not know?”

Old man: When my daughter came to know this, she used to ask me for double pocket money.

The old man falls silent and then laughs softly and says “I once did a birthday prank with my wife. I brought a fake snake and placed it on my wife’s shoulder. She was so scared that she started running around in the house.”

Officer: So how was the birthday party then?

Old man: Everyone got food expect me.

Officer: We all have our own memories, as long as we are alive then our own will also be alive in memories.

 Albert: Well said.

Old man: I am glad that my wife did not die of this infection.

Everyone shares their good memories with each other.

Albert: My life was not good enough. I was fired from three interviews in one month. My girlfriend left me and now when I last saw her she was eating some man.

Michael: Really, your life was very useless friend.

 Albert: This is nothing. Once my college boys beat me in front of the girl I loved.

Michael: Then didn’t you beat them?

Albert: I got angry but I did not want that boys to beat me again. I get insulted only once in one day.

All the people started laughing.

Jason voices from outside, “If someone wants to see a falling star, he can come out” Albert, Michael and the Old man come out and look up to the sky.

Old man: Seeing the falling star, I forget all my sorrow and every pain.

Albert: Will there be an Earth like ours in any universe in which people like us live?

Michael: Yes, in the parallel universe.

Jason: What does a parallel universe means?

Michael: Parallel universe, also known as a parallel dimension, alternate universe or alternate reality, is a hypothetical self contained plane of existence, co-existing with one’s own. The sun of all potential universes that constitute reality is often called a “multiverse.”

Jason: I did not understand much of that.

Michael looks up and takes a very deep breath. “Yes, there will be people in parallel universe like us; there you may not have been born yet.”

Michael: Do you know Jason, space is full of light, but it doesn’t look like it. The color black usually signals the absence of light. But inside the solar system, space is filled with light.

Jason:  I didn’t want to know all this but thank you for telling me.

Michael looking down from the ceiling “these zombies are in large number.”

Jason: I stand here at night only to see all this.

Michael: These zombies are trying to break down the door.

Jason: You don’t worry; these zombies have been trying for a long time. They are not being able to break the door.

The Officer comes out and says “we will not be able to fight such a number of zombies.”

Old man: Only half of the city’s infected people are here.

Jason: This means that the number will increase further.

Michael: How can we take so many people together from here?

Albert: If any person diverts the attention of these zombies, then we can get out of the car kept below.

Michael: You put the car down.

Albert: Yes, why?

Michael: Now all we need is another car.

Albert: Why do we need another car? We can all come in the same car.

 Michael: How many more young people are there?

Albert: 10 people including all four of us.

Michael: Do you have weapon for all of us?

Albert: Yes, the last time those who stayed with us left many of their weapons.

Officer: So where did those people go?

Jason: They tried to go to some other safe place from here, but they become the food of the zombies soon after.

Albert: Are we also making the same mistake?

Officer: We have to leave this place we cannot stay here for long.

Jason: We can’t decide the lives of others among ourselves.

Albert: We should ask everyone once.

Jason: You are right.

They all go in and Albert starts standing in the middle of the people and starts speaking. “Friends, a lot of zombies are standing outside our doors.  We all four have thought that we all gets out together from here we can go to a safe place.”

One man spoke out of all these people. “You forgotten that when the last time all of then left here to go to some safe place, what happened to them.”

Albert: I remember that is why I came to ask you.

The man said “I don’t think we should leave this place.”

Albert: We don’t have much food left anyway.

Jason: We have already finished the food in the vicinity.

Albert: We have to change the place today or tomorrow.

Jason: I know that everyone is scared but the decision is yours too.

Albert: Please tell us by thinking.

Jason: I hope you guys take the decision without fear.

Albert: I have made my decision.

Officer: Think about your life and decide.

All four comes out.

Jason: What have you decided, brother?

Albert: Whoever stops here I will stay with him.

Jason: Why are you fooling, why are you risking your life for others?

Albert: You know Jason I can’t survive long. If I go to any safe place in the world, I will still not be able to live much.

Jason: It is better to try one more time than die in a bad place.

Officer asks Michael “how we will get out of here?”

Michael: Somebody has to go far from here and after that, by taking the car from here we will attract those zombies to ourselves.

Officer: There maybe danger.

Michael: If you have a way tells me.

Officer: NO, I will follow your way.

Michael: OK then you will go out and take zombies from here.

Officer: Why me?

Michael: You have more experience.

Michael shoots at the zombie from above “go away devils. I am tired of hearing this voice.”

Officer: Humankind would never have imagined such a wretched day.

Michael: Today we are fighting an infection that we do not know anything about.

Jason: Today humans are our enemy and due to this infection we cannot even get out.

Michael: Everything goes well after it goes bad; this is the law of the universe. We should forget all worries and just try.

Officer: Military, I agree with you.

Michael: So then we all have a same decision.

Officer: What did the insiders decide?

Michael: Let’s ask inside we don’t have much time.

They four go in.

Jason: Friends, till now all of us must have changed our decisions quite a few times, so now tell us who is ready to get out of here.

Only three people decide to go.

A man says “it’s stupid to go from here. We are safe here right now, when everything starts to get better then it will be good to get out of here.”

The other man say’s “we do not know how there will be danger in other cities, we must stop here.

Michael: You guys are sneaky you shouldn’t have the right to live.

A man says “Shut up! We people should not have saved you; you are a danger to everyone.”

Officer: You guys are living without effort. Let’s get out of here before the condition worse, you have not seen anything bad yet, do not let it get here.

 A man says “we are safe here for the last six months; you came today and started asking us to move to some other safe place.

Michael: This is the decision of you people, stay alive and get out when everything goes well.

Jason: We do not have much food and we will get food in the mall but there is danger.

A man says “we will have more food left after these people leave.”

Michael: Eat while you’re alive.

Michael goes out.

Officer: Ok then who are ready to go with us, come out

Jason, Officer and three people come out.

Michael: Where is Albert?

Jason:  He won’t come with us.

Michael:  Why did he agree at first?

Jason: He cannot run far away Albert is in the last stage of cancer, if he reaches a safe place with us, still he will not able to survive.

Michael: I am sorry friend.

Jason: What is the plan now?

Michael: The officer will go out and take the attention of zombies and take them away and then we will leave from here.

Michael smiles “easy plan.”

Officer: I wish it was easy for me.

Michael: Along with going out, we have to give cover fire to the officer, the officer will go to the same car where the diary is and we will go with two vehicles.

Jason points “this is Mike, Alex and Wade. Mike is a good sniper.”

Officer: Were you sniper in the army.

Mike: No, I was a hit-man; actually I was a contact killer.

Wade: I am a mechanical engineer and in a few days I have learned to fire a gun properly.

Michael: Both of these will work.

Officer: Tell me something about yourself Alex?

 Alex: I cook very well.

Michael ignores Alex’s point and speaks “we will need some gun and grenades.”

Officer: Jason shows me the condition of the car.

Jason: We have to go down stairs to see the car.

Albert brings guns and grenades.

Michael: You are not really coming with us.

Albert: Friend if I was alright I would have come.

Michael: I’m sad that a warrior like you fell with these sneakiest.

Albert: Never mind mate, I’ve fought a lot now I just want to rest.

Michael: I will pray for you Albert.

Albert: Thank you anyway I don’t need prayers.

Michael hands over Albert’s shoulder. Michael speaks “you are a very nice person.”

Jason: We should show the car to Wade once.

Officer: Okay.

Wade approaches the car.

Jason: Wade properly checks the vehicle.

Wade: Don’t worry I am a great mechanic.

Mike stands behind “if there is any problem in this car, I will shoot the bullet on your head.”

Wade: Friend if you scare me you sure die.

Mike: Why so?

Wade: I do everything without fear and if you scare me, I will not be able to do work properly.

Mike: Ok you work.

Wade checks the engine of the car. “There is nothing wrong with the engine.”

Officer: That means it’s worth driving.

Wade: You know the last car I checked was Kelly’s.

Mike: You are talking about musician Kelly.

Mike: Yes but she was very arrogant and went away without thanking me.

Jason: I like her songs.

Wade: She was not so special, since that say I never heard her song.

Mike: Don’t say that again for Kelly.

Officer: I’ve always loved Leonardo DiCaprio. There is no better actor in Hollywood then Leonardo.

Wade: You are misinformed and there were more good stars in Hollywood, the list is long.

Wade: Is like Shahrukh khan and Irfan Khan.

Wade: I have seen Irfaan Khan but Shahrukh Khan in not of Hollywood.

Officer: Yeah right, I saw a lot of his picture.

Wade: But all these stars were there till 50 years ago.

Jason: I still like Shahrukh khan.

Wade: Bollywood was India’s cinema industry.

Officer: I remembered one thing in the name of India.

Jason: Tell me too.

Officer: Rishikesh, a place where every soul is peaceful.

Jason:  If we are saved from all these things then I would like to settle in India.

Wade: Would this transition have spread to other countries as well.

Officer: I hope it doesn’t happen. If it spreads everywhere, then we humans will disappear from the earth.

Mike: Will the government of another country not be able to save its people.

Officer: The government is saving its people that are why every country has banned the people of our country. According to me, no country will have complete information about this infection; it is an unknown infection for everyone.

Mike: How can you say so confidently?

Officer: Because if any country had got full information about this thing, they would have come to save us by now. Our government hid something from the world.
