Another Visitor and a Question
March had been unusually warm, but a spring cold snap hit Connecticut in April and temps returned to normal. The hot tub on the patio was the only venue for outdoor activity that would see any use during Paul’s next play party unless the temperature rebounded, Kat thought. The turn in the weather was especially unfortunate given that Paul had just gone to the airport to pick up Claire.
Claire was the manager of Star Fall. Once a year she flew up for a board of director’s meeting. Claire was Polynesian, born and raised on Moorea. Now she worked in the Caribbean. Cold of even the slightest degree made her one cranky camper.
