Chapter eleven

#The cold funeral

Wailing and crying could be heard at the cemetery as the coffin was lowered down in the hole. Suddenly it started to rain and it seems like a bright day will never come. Violet looked round at the people that came to mourn with her, pretending like they cared. She spotted Leila in a black top and jean trousers. Both of them looked at each other, Leila then nodded her head in greetings to Violet. Dressed in a black long gown with black veil on her head she couldn't believe that it was her mother that was being taken away from her. Now seeing the only one that mattered most to her broke her. Even Sasha was sad, Violet has been trying to talk to her since but she was upset that she had yelled at Aaron but that shouldn't be a reason not to comfort her. Aaron has been sending emotional supports through the bond, it helped her.

With time the dark colours began to dispatch rendering their heart's condolence while leaving till she was left alone. She started to cry again feeling loneliness taking over, unaware of the presence of someone who held an umbrella over her. She turned immediately when she felt the sparks on her right shoulder and without thinking leaned against him weakly. Aaron was also dressed in a black suit..all through the morning till the moment Pauline, Violet's mom was buried he hadn't spoken to Violet. It was like she loathed seeing him ever since he broke the news to her yesterday. He and Tyler missed his mate too and was always trying to help send comforts to Sasha. Now looking at her heartbroken, he wished he could help her ease the pains but he can't. You see its a tradition that loved ones be buried in the Cemetery within five days except if bodies are not found or in case of emergency. While dead wolves that have turned rogues or in case of crimes committed are to be burned or left or thrown away.

'I'm sorry! For everything you went Through. I'm sorry I couldn't be the supportive mate you needed' Aaron apologized to her. She didn't respond, all she needed was a shoulder to lean on. Violet didn't want to say goodbyes and felt the urge to die too but she couldn't, her Mom will never forgive her.

After two hours of sorrows they decided to go back inside. Aaron knew that she couldn't withstand anymore sympathies so linked his family to inform the pack not to disturb them. He also asked James to prepare an Omega to come upstairs with food. 'Thank you for your support....and am sorry I yelled at you. No matter what I shouldn't blame you for all this' Violet apologized to him. He stood surprised and slowly sat down on the bed with her, they were in their room now. 'Please don't feel sorry you have every right to react the way you did. In a normal situation like this it was understandable' he was assuring her.

The Omega knocked at the door and he stood up to open it, Collected it from her hands before thanking her. He walked with the food back to her,sat down and tried to feed her. 'I'm not hungry' she said. 'I know but just eat this for strength please or do you want me to kiss you?' he said teasely.

'Aaron! Please no' she whined shaking her head so as he won't be able to put the spoon near her mouth. Aaron pretends to be upsets, dropped the spoon and folded his hands pouting at her. She rolled her eyes laughing and shaking her head at his cuteness. 'Okay I will eat but you will feed me right?' she asked. He smiled knowing he had succeeded and said 'anything for my Vio' and started feeding her.

Later that evening Violet received a letter from someone when she was at the backyard where the pool was. She had fallen asleep with Aaron besides her and when she woke up decided to take some fresh air in the backyard as if she knew that a letter awaits her hidden at the usual spot where only she can locate them. Though the person's identity was unknown but she knew it was from Frank.Opening the letter she reads:

From Me my Queen,

I hope this letter gets to you safely. First of all accept my condolences, sorry that I couldn't show my face but I wished I could comfort you. Secondly be prepared cause the days are coming soon when we would deal with starlight pack. Thank you for the info I asked for. Please await my return soon.

After reading it Violet quickly tore the letter and throwaway the pieces to hid evidence and ran back inside the pack house.
