Hope's Pov

"Can I sit here?" He asked me, while I was looking at both of them in shock.

"Um... I don't know, I think-" Before I could say something he already sat down in front of me.

"Thanks," He said and started eating his sandwich.

"Well, I didn't say that you could sit here y' know?" I argued but he didn't even pay attention to me.

"Well, too bad. I'm already sitting here." He said with a fake smile and took another bite of his sandwich.

We continued eating silently, without even looking at each other.

"f*****g slut." He murmured suddenly. That made my eyes widen.

"Excuse me?!"

"Not you." He said and that made me calm down a little.

I saw that he was staring at my tray with widened eyes.

"Gross! How can you eat that? Is that carrot juice?"

I chuckled at his reaction. Well, maybe it looked gross to some people, but I was already used to eating healthy food. Because of my health problems, I used to avoid junk food my whole life.

"What's wrong with my food? At least it's healthier than yours."

He looked at his tray checking out his own food. Sandwich, Fri and a glass of Cola.

"At least it's delicious."

I shrugged and continued eating silently.

"Is that Broccoli?" He exclaimed with his eyes widened.

Seriously? Can't I eat peacefully?

"Leave my food alone, please," I said with a sigh. He chuckled at my words.

"Yeah, sorry. Anyway, how was your first day?" He asked curiously.

"Awesome. Too bad it's the last year already." I said with a smile. Looked like my answer shocked him.

"What? Who even says that?" He said with his eyes widened.

"Says what?"

"That it's awesome being at school. I mean, everyone is waiting until the day's over so that they could finally go home. But you're saying you like it here."

I chuckled at his words. Yeah, maybe if I spent at school 12years, I would have been fed up with it, like everyone else. But now I'm happy about finally being here.

"Well, to someone, who has never been at school before-" I couldn't finish my sentence as he cut me off.

"Wait what? You have never been at school before? But why?" He looked really curious about the reason, but there's no way I was going to tell him.

"Well, there were some reasons why I kept being homeschooled." I answered with a little smile.

"Interesting..."

Suddenly I remembered about my medicines, I looked at the phone and it was the time to take them.

"Sorry, I have to go," I told him hurriedly, stood up and left to the bathroom.

Well, maybe I was wrong when I thought that Daniel Stevens didn't seem like an idiot...
