Charles stared at Nancy's face as he walked up to meet her. She stood there silently, not wanting to meet his gaze. He asked her in a calm, alluring voice, "Are you sure that you truly want to leave?"

"Hmm," Charles drew nearer, and Nancy didn't want to take a step backwards or look at his face. She knew she couldn't resist him. He touched her long, golden hair that shone golden in daylight and blonde at night, as Nancy was very fair in complexion.
