(Winter POV)
First glance and I knew she and I will not get along well.
And God, how right I am!
Time to time during her whole conversation with his parents, she kept glancing at me. And each time she stares it becomes more and more of a glare.
“Who is this girl?” Lucy finally asked as she looked at me up and down.
“Oh. She is just a girl Alan has the burden of looking after” Mr. Davis said with void voice.
“What Caden meant was that, she is temporarily under the care of Alan. As you can see she is injured and Alan is partly the reason. So until she recovers she is under his care. You know how kind and helpful he is.” Alan’s mother said as I looked away, my eyes filling with tears.
“Oh. Poor Alan. I heard he wasn’t in office for a few days. Is she the reason” she asked as he nodded
