(Winter POV) "Dammit I’m late again!" I said to myself as I looked at my watch while walking through the busy street. I swear I had time to buy my star bucks. I can’t believe I am going to be late on my first day.  My phone rang and I let out a groan answering it without checking the caller ID. "Where are you? The class starts in 10 minutes" Aiden shouted on the other end making me wince. "I’m sorry. The star buck’s line was damn long!" I said as I breathed heavily. "Are you serious?! Then why didn’t you leave?" he said and I could feel the irritation in his voice. "I was such a nervous wreck. You know I need a KitKat shake when I’m nervous. Besides, I didn’t notice the time." I tried to reason. "Bullshit. Where are you now?" he asked. "Umm... I think south subway?" I said speed walking. "You won’t make it" he said making me role my eyes. "Thank you captain obvious" I said. "Look you get inside, say some excuse for me. But make sure you message me the excuse so we won’t say different ones" I continued as he gave out an "ok" followed by a series of curse. "Alright I’m hanging up. You are taking my energy" I said as he laughed. I hanged the phone and put it in my pocket but while doing so I bumped into a very hard wall. Well more like a chest. The collision must be very strong because I felt shiver run across my whole body. I closed my eyes expecting to meet a cold hard floor but midway I felt an arm snake around my waist preventing me from hitting the ground. I opened one of my eyes and looked up to see a guy. A very handsome guy. He had blue eyes and brown hair. His facial features where sharp and he looked like a Greek god. But something seems familiar. His eyes… they look exactly like his… I shook my held mentally scolding myself. Get over him, Winter! You try to find something similar to him in every boy you meet! He looked at me in shock, his nose was wrinkled and forehead creased in confusion. "What are you doing here?" he asked and this time I looked at him in confusion. "What?" I asked as I got out of his grip. He only kept staring at me as though I came from some other planet. But soon it turned into a full blown smile. Ok…creepy stranger alert. He looked at me in awe and I felt myself sinking into his electric blue eyes. I felt like going into trace as he inched closer to me. My phone rang suddenly grabbing both our attention. Breaking up from the trace I quickly surfed my pocket for my phone.  "Hey Winter, I told the teacher you got lost in your way to the academy. But please hurry up. The welcome program has already begun" Aiden voice said urgently before ending the call. "s**t!" I said looking at my watch. "I’m already 5 minutes late."  "Do you want a ride?" the mystery guy asked as I raised my eyebrow at him. "Umm... No thank you. You could be a serial killer" I said making him laugh. My body shivered and my heart started beating fast when I heard his laugh. "Don’t worry. I am not a serial killer. You seem to be late and I happen to have a car. I’m just offering a kind service to a lovely lady." he said with a very cute yet sexy smile. "Well... No I still refuse. But thank you though” I said but he grabbed me by my wrist. “Please. I promise I’m not a serial killer.” He pleaded as he looked at me with his… hypnotizing striking blue eyes. Alright alright! But beware. I have a can of pepper spray" I said as he nodded happily. "Of course" he said as he took out his phone. I looked at him curiously as he typed on his phone before looking back at me with a smile making my heart beat fast. A very expensive black car probably a Mercedes stopped in front of us.  "Come on. Our ride's here" the guy said as he walked and opened the door for me. "Right... So you are one of those rich overly handsome guys" I said entering the luxurious ride. He laughed at the comment and got in. "I’m glad you find me as an overly handsome guy" he said making me blush. "I’m guessing flocks of girls swoon over you" I countered. "They do. But I’m in love with someone else" he said and for no reason I felt a span of jealousy inside me. "That’s great" I murmured looking out the window. "Where to sir?" the driver asked as blue eyes looked at me. "Oh. The Vibrance Academy" I said as the driver nodded. "So you are a dancer huh" he asked as I nodded my head. "Yup. It’s my forever dream" I said as he nodded and murmured something. "Sorry what?" I asked as he shook his head. "Nothing” he said ******************* "Thank You so much for dropping me....." I said but I stopped mid-way as I realized something. "s**t! I didn’t ask your name" I said scratching my neck. "Alan... Alan Richard" he said after looking at me for a moment" "Oh. My name's Winter" I said reaching out my hand. He smiled as he took a hold of it. A sudden wave of sparks flowed through my body making me look at him. "I... Umm... I have to go." I said as I let go of his hand. "Bye, Alan. Thank you for dropping me!" I said as I waved and walked inside. ********** I speed walked into the academy only stopping at the office to buy my schedule. I then rushed to the auditorium 1 where the welcoming of new students takes place.  An old lady was on the stage giving out a speech while I walked into the huge hall. One of the teachers walked to me raising her eyebrow. "Yes?" she asked as she walked to me.  "Umm... sorry but I got lost my way here" I said as she shook her head at me. "Leila, don’t worry. I’ll take care of this." a blond elderly woman said walking towards us. Leila gave a nod before walking out away.  "Hello sweet heart, my name is Karan. You must be Winter." she asked as I mutely nodded. "Your friend Aiden has already told about you. I hope it won’t happen again." she said as I smiled at her. "Yes, Maam" I said to which she laughed. "Alright then. Your seat is next to your friend, over there." she said pointing at the left side.  I nodded and walked past the people before settling next to Aiden. "I thought you won’t come for another 15 minutes. You caught a cab?" he whispered as I shook a no. "No. No cab. But I’ll tell later" I said as I turned looking at the stage. But my mind was filled by that strange blue eyes that made my heart beat fast. I have never felt anything like that since… No don’t think of him. You are much better without him. He doesn’t deserve you!
