"How did they get into the pack?" I asked my chief border officer, James.
"We are still trying to figure it out Alpha but there is no indication they forced their way into any of the entry points." The man replied with his head bowed low and my nostrils flared as I tried to tamp down my annoyance.
"What are you trying to say?" I gritted out and the man chanced a glance at me.
"Someone might have let them in Alpha," the man muttered and in a matter of seconds I crossed the room and had my hand wrapped around his neck as I pushed him to the wall.
"Are you suggesting you have a traitor among the men you highly recommended to me?" I asked as my eyes flashed. Jax was aggravated and restless, more so than usual and I fought to keep him under control.
