Silas' pov
"Where is Scarlett?" I asked Asher as I scanned the training grounds but I couldn't sight her.
"Is there a specific reason you are looking for her?" He asked as he quirked a brow at me and I cleared my throat and kept my face blank.
"Do I need a reason to know where the rogue on my pack grounds is?" I retorted and Asher's eyes searched my face for a moment before he let out a chuckle as he shook his head.
"What's funny?" I asked, annoyed to somehow be his source of amusement.
"Nothing Silas, nothing at all." He replied which only grated on my nerves much more.
"Scarlett has quit training, I thought she would have told you." He informed me and my heart dropped but I kept my face stoic.
