"Your wounds healed remarkably fast," Doctor Kyle announced as he assessed my vitals.
"You can return to the pack house," he continued.
"I'll let Nora know you are in the all clear as well," he said with a knowing smile before I could speak and I gave him a grateful smile in return.
"What did you say the name of your pack was?" He asked suddenly and my eyes snapped up to his.
"Any particular reason you are curious about it?" I asked lightly and he shrugged.
"No reason, just curious. You never talk about it," he explained and I nodded slowly as I tried to hide the skepticism in my eyes.
