"Did my warning mean nothing to you?" Gary's voice woke me up and my eyes snapped open.
I stared at the amused man staring back at me and my eyes strayed to the weight that I felt on half my body.
I looked down at Scarlett who was still fast asleep with one leg and arm draped around me and her cheek on my shoulder.
"Get out," I called out to Gary without looking at the old man and he chuckled but complied.
My free hand gently caressed Scarlett's face and I could swear she purred as she leaned into me.
