Silas' pov
"Silas," a familiar voice called out to me and I looked around but couldn't see anyone.
"Elara?" I called out hesitantly.
"Silas." The voice was louder and my feet, having a mind of their own, began walking towards the direction of the voice.
I came to an abrupt halt as I saw Elara sobbing on her knees.
"Elara?" I called out to her and she looked up at me with teary eyes.
"I'm sorry Silas, I didn't do it. I really didn't do it," she begged me and as I tried to approach her it was as though my feet were stuck..
Blood began trickling down her head and trailed along her face as she let out heart-wrenching sobs which felt like I was being punched in the gut.
