Silas's lips hovered above mine for a moment, his eyes made their way back to mine as though he was silently asking for my permission, and before I could reply the bathroom door burst open.
"Silas I've been calli-" Asher began and I immediately sprang away from him as though I had been burned.
Heat crawled up my cheeks and I turned away from Silas, what the hell had I been thinking?
"Scarlett, I didn't know you were here," Asher commented as he stared between Silas and me.
"I'm done anyway, I was just leaving," I informed him as I pushed past him before he could reply.
