Chapter 22 Scarlett's pov "You can't steal from me and get away with it Scarlett, you should know better than that." A voice called out to me and my eyes bulged open as I searched for the person in the darkness. I tried to get up from my bed but heavy chains pulled me back down and I stared at my wrists and ankles which were bound by heavy silver chains that dug into my skin. "I'll give you one last chance to tell me where the vial is," the man came into view and I stared wordlessly at the man whose face was pinched in a sneer and had a scar running along the left side of his face. I fought against the chains but they only burned more into my skin. "I already told you I don't know where the vial is," I pleaded with the man as tears streamed down my face at the pain.
