Scarlett's pov
"Scar?" Silas' voice calls out behind me and I turn to stare at him with wide eyes.
"Silas? What are you doing here?" I asked as he approached me and stopped barely an inch away from me.
I gulped as he gently cupped my cheeks in his hands and his head lowered until his lips hovered above mine.
"I've missed you more than you can imagine." His breath fanned my lips and I stared up into his darkened eyes.
"Why did you have to betray me? Why did you have to leave me all alone?" He asked as his grip on my cheeks tightened and I wrapped my hands around his wrists but made no move to pull his hands away.
Tears welled up in my eyes and I choked back a sob as there was so much I wanted to tell him but for some reason, the words just wouldn't come out.
