Scarlett's pov
The guards roughly shoved me to the ground and I made no move of resistance as my knees met the floor and I kept my eyes down.
I could feel numerous eyes on me but I didn't dare look up even as feet shuffled and stopped in front of me.
My heart beat loudly in my chest and even without looking up, I already knew who it was.
"Look at me," Silas' cold voice called out to me but my head remained firmly lowered.
"I won't be so kind as to repeat myself rogue," he gritted out and goosebumps rose within me as I slowly lifted my head and my eyes met stormy brown ones.
