"I know what you are going to say-" Asher began as soon as we stepped into my office and I turned to him with a lethal glare.
"What is wrong with you?" I cut him off.
"The girl has a lot on her mind-" he tried again but I interrupted him.
"And this is our problem how?" I gritted out.
"How can you blindly trust a rogue Asher? Has the past taught you nothing?" I continued while he stared at me blankly, adding to my irritation.
"Why do you think of all places to request to work, she wants to help out at the infirmary? That's not a coincidence." I pointed out and I could see doubt flicker within his eyes as he processed my words.
