Scarlett's pov
'You'll regret interfering in my plan.' I stared at the words scribbled on a piece of paper strategically placed on my bed where I would never be able to miss it and my heart dropped.
Who had put this here and how had they gotten into my room?
My hands shook as I slowly picked up the note and stared at the words, willing them to disappear.
I gulped as I made my way towards my bathroom and quickly opened it before I stepped away in case the culprit was still there. I waited for a few seconds before I made my way in and assessed it but there was no one there.
My heart beat loudly in my chest as I checked if I had left my windows open but they were still tightly shut and I had to unlock my door before I came in so how had someone dropped this here?
