Silas' pov
Scarlett let out a high-pitched scream beside me and I turned to her in alarm. She had both hands on either side of her ear and she was rapidly shaking her head as her chest rose and fell heavily.
"Scarlett?" I called out to her hesitantly, but she didn't seem to hear me.
"Scarlett?" I tried again as I gripped her shoulders and turned her to me but her eyes were still firmly shut as a sob racked through her.
"Please don't hurt me, I don't know where it is." She pleaded in a tiny voice that fugged at something within me. Jax growled at the thought of someone hurting Scarlett but I closed off our link as I focused my attention on the woman before me.
"Scarlett," I called out to her more softly as my hands gently covered hers.
"It's alright, no one is going to hur
