Rick came out of the room and when he saw me, he lowered himself to my height to speak to me. He showed me his son and allowed me to take him in my arms. His son was perfect. He had a beautiful ash blond down, like his father's hair. He was sleeping deeply, oblivious to what was happening around him. I felt tears well up in my eyes when he told me he named his son Nicolas after me. Two other wolves came to join us, whom Cassy introduced as Bryce and James. Rick then told me they were with him when he found me. I felt grateful to them.
