Dad: Greg, you know as well as I do that she was killed when she was four years old
Gregory: That's what I thought too, but she's alive, she survived.
Dad: What? But how?
Gregory: Before she died, her mother made her promise not to give her name and hid it out of reach. When Alpha Drake found her, he thought she was rankled, and they used her as a slave. She ran away, because Drake and his son wanted to sell her to a Cruel Alpha. They don't know anything about her and even called her Cinders, because she wouldn't tell them her name.
Dad: Where is she now?
Gregory: I'm putting her up above the restaurant. I hired her today. She cooks very well. It's even incredible.
Dad: If her mother told her not to tell anyone about her, why did she tell you?
