Chapter eight

Is he going to tell me, or write them down?

"Condition number one: You help me fix my wrong doings. Condition number two: Please call me dad or father. Condition number three: I have to meet your boyfriend first, if you ever get one and condition number four: Help me find your mother, please".

Hmmm, that all sounds pretty reasonable, especially helping him find my mother.

"Yes I will do all that, but there is one thing. Um, well you see i have got a uh... Well I have no idea what he is, we've both said we love each other; but we didn't get any further than that. You already know his name and i would like for you to meet him".

He smiles a kind fatherly smile and I notice that I've got his eyes.

"You mean that Tamani guy that was with you, Dimitri and that guardian girl"?

I chuckle at him and smile.

"Yes that guy, he's really nice and he has an amazing personality".

I have no idea what else to say.

"You mean the son to queen Adrianna Cloud"?

What? Tamani is a prince? He can't be.

"Tamani would have told me if he were a prince".

How can Tamani be a prince? He's lived in the human realm almost all of his life. All of a sudden Valentines thoughts slam into my head.

~Doesn't Tamani have a nephew? Prince Andevai  or something like that~

"Yes Tamani has a nephew called Andevai, why"?

A smile spreads across his face, one that i would very much like to slap off.

"You can read my mind".

Na I just happened to guess, what the hell can't he read minds as well?

"Can't you read minds as well"?

"Vampire devil fairies aren't supposed to be able to read each others minds. but you can, I wonder"....

He trails off into though, now I'm curious as to what he's thinking.

'If i could get rose to read everyone's mind, maybe I can bend there will and they will have no choice but to bow down to me; the rightful king of wonderland'.

"Hey dad, can I go look around i haven't actually seen that much of wonderland"?

"Yes you can, but you need to be back before dark. Do you want any company, I could get one of the guards to accompany you"?

I don't impractically want any guards with me, because i'm not planning on coming back.

"No i'm fine thank you, i can go by myself. I will be back in an hour or so okay"?.

Huh, I am never coming back to this place, ever no matter what.

"Okay, be careful".

He actually means that, I can tell but that doesn't mean that i'm going to buy into his bullshit and come back. I walk to the door and the guards stop me, look over to valentine and when he nods they let me go. He looks at me and smiles, but his mind is twisting and turning. One word sticks out... KILL TAMANI!

As soon as I'm outside, i run as fast and as hard as i can. I use my wings the moment I'm out of breath, I have one goal... Warn Tamani and make him go back to the human realm and never return. The moment I see him, i'm in his arms and kissing him. He kisses me back and then pulls away and looks at everyone for a bit, that's when i notice that Andevai's  Staring at me.

"Where the hell have you been, we've been looking for you everywhere. Well technically not everywhere, but you know what i mean".

Yes i do know, but that doesn't matter right now. All that matters is warning him about my father going to kill him.

"Tamani. My father, he plans on killing you and taking over wonderland".

He smiles, like who the f**k smiles when some ones father is going to kill you?

"Thank you for worrying, but he's not going to kill me. Not in front of you anyway and if he tries to take over wonderland, then i will kill him. No matter who or what stands in my way, he isn't destroying anymore of it. I can't nor will I let him".

I nod in understanding, but what if i can't get through to him? What if i can't make him good again? If i can find my mother, then i might be able to get some answers. Real answers.

"Tamani, i need to get back to Valentine before he comes looking for me. Please, I know you wont agree, but he needs to think that I am on his side and i need to get back before dark, so there is no time for arguing".

He looks at me and nods, I nod back and fly back to Valentines castle. Before they're all out of sight, I look back at Tamani and he stares back. God i wish life was easier and more fair, I want to be with him but i have no idea how he feels now that we are here. Well I guess i'm just going to have to put my feelings aside for now, because I have to put all of my effort into getting 'My dad' to trust me and that means that i will have to gradually turn evil, so i have a lot of practising to do. As i get back to Valentine, the moon comes out. I walk through the doors and he comes up to me,

"Where have you been, I said to be back before dark and it is past dark. We made a promise Rose and i expect you to live by it, you really worried me".
