Chapter four

I'm in a dream, but then I'm not. I'm suddenly in Tamani's dream, we're standing with each other and dancing, laughing and singing. We're having fun, but then he leans down and kisses me. I can barely believe it, it's like a dream come true; sparks are flying everywhere and then they aren't. suddenly I'm awake, lying in Tamani's arms, in his bed. He smirks at me; I'm starting to really hate that smirk.

"well done, you have finally got the hang of dream leaping, I'm proud of you".

I definitely do not have the hang of dream leaping, it was an accident; but I don't tell him that.

"Thanks, I guess".

I wanted to say more, but then I remember that I am still in his bed and we have school today. Tamani grabs my arm so I can't get up.

"where are you off to little miss"?

God, I can't think with him touching me.

"I am going to school, which is what you should be doing to".

I pull my arm out of his grip and walk to the door, I can't bring myself look at him.

"There is no school today, it's Saturday".

I stop and look back; he pats his bed and smiles.

"come on, sit. Tell me what is bothering you, although I'm fairly sure I already know".

I don't know if I should tell him or not. I don't want to tell him, but then again, I do, so here it goes.

"I didn't mean to dream leap, but then I saw what you were dreaming about. Um, you know what never mind. Nothing is really bothering me".

I don't know what's going on anymore, I'm stuck. Do I actually love him? Am I being silly?

"Do you actually like me in that way Tamani, or do you just want me for s*x because if you do, then I don't know I guess things will have to end here before they begin".

Tamani stares at me for what feels like the longest time, it feels as if years has passed before he talks again.

"NO, I don't want you for s*x. I actually really like you, have since the first day I met you. You have been with me throughout my whole life. I know more about you than you will ever know, all these years watching you. How could I not fall in love with you, you are the most beautiful women I have ever met".

That was all I needed to hear; I pull him to me as my mouth collides with his. At first, he doesn't kiss me back, I think I caught him off guard. He pulls me closer and we kiss with such passion that I can honestly see fireworks behind my eyes. We break apart, but still stare at each other and in that second, I realise I have found my other half, my one true love. It sounds very cliché, but it's true. I love him with all my heart, more than my own life.

Once we're all up and ready, Tamani said he would take us out and show us around the place. There are millions of places and shops to go to. we finish our shopping spree, I have around 30 new pairs of shoes and clothes. Tiana bought about 40 new books to read and Dimitri bought himself an Xbox 360 with around 10 games to go with it. Tamani, well we haven't spoken to each other since our little moment and quite truthfully, I have no idea what to think about it all. One minute he tells me that he loves me and the next minute he completely ignores me for no reason. Some guy comes out of nowhere, he hits Tiana over the head and trips over Dimitri. They're both unconscious.

"We have to help Tam, they're my family".

Tamani stops and runs back, says we better hurry before the guy wakes up. He starts muttering to himself while he helps Dimitri out of a bin, and I pick up Tiana. We start to run as we can while carrying people.

"Who was that guy and what does he want"?

He doesn't answer, just keeps on running. We reach our house, I run inside and put Tiana down on her bed and Tamani does the same with Dimitri.

"who was that guy Tamani and what the hell does he want".

He starts pacing the lounge room and answering at the same time.

"That guy's name is Valentine, he is the evil king of wonderland. He wants you and Dimitri because you's are the rightful".

He didn't get to finish because Dimitri starts to scream, I quickly run to him. As soon as I see what he's screaming about, I start to laugh; I can't help it. Thank god I'm not alone, my brother is a part of wonderland as well. I mean why wouldn't we be? We are blood after all. Tamani stares, but without his usual cocky smile and jokes. Now I'm worried, somethings going on in his head and I'm not sure what it is, but I want to find out,
