Xerxes and Hemming took no time to walk inside the room which was in the basement of the laboratory once they were able to open it with the key that was in the same drawer as the necklace was. Now that it was bright everywhere, they were able to see things even better inside. Both of them noticed every single thing, but nothing caught the attention of Xerxes as that one big drawer of what resembled a morgue.
Little did they know that it was actually where the dead bodies were kept for experiments. As Xerxes walked to the side of the morgue, he put his hand on that one particular drawer, but he was hesitant to open it. Hemming stopped looking at whatever he was looking at and brought his eyes at Xerxes to see why he had gone that side.
Very slowly, Xerxes started to open the drawer.
