It’s Vacation time.
POV: Adeline
I ignore the nagging feeling in my head, okay so maybe not nagging but pressure. My mate asks me if I’m okay, and I nod. That’s all I can do if I speak I might cry or fall asleep because it would be my last bit of energy.
The man is still staring at me, I feel his eyes on me and I don’t hate it. My body actually likes it. In my head, my wolf is confused, about why my body is reacting the way it Is. I think about it for a minute and Wait, I say to my wolf, “ What do you mean she Is waking up?”
My wolf turns her head but doesn’t reply.
Even if she does try to, she would have been cut off because the Elders are coming into the room. I honestly thought I’d feel more power coming from them but I don’t. They all look at me very curiously but continue on.
