STAYING AT THE HOTEL instead of their own homes had been a perfectly reasonable logistical choice, but a less reasonable emotional one. They were in Denver. Instead, after the show, they took the van with everyone else back to the hotel. The group stood around the lobby talking until Leo reminded them how early the bus was leaving in the morning.
