SOMEWHERE ON THE ROAD between Chicago and Philadelphia, Brendan and Katie were the only two people awake, lying in bunks across the aisle from each other. They’d started taking advantage of these quiet moments when everyone else was asleep to be together. Now that they weren’t road roommates, they had so little time that was just the two of them. “What would you think of me doing more of our choreography?” Brendan asked.
