“You don’t always have to be so blunt, you know.”
Elizabeth shrugged at Sawyer’s comment.
“I don’t have to be, but that man needs people to be blunt with him. That is part of the reason they are so perfect for each other.”
“Part of?” Sawyer sat down on the bed beside Elizabeth.
He waited for her to explain, because he knew that she had more to say.
“Yes - part of. She’s perfect for him because he wants to be with someone strong willed, and he is perfect for her because she clearly has a lot of hang ups thanks to your father and he is a kind, mild mannered guy who is older than her, well built, and rather attractive.”
Sawyer laughed.
“You’re saying she likes Jonas because she has daddy issues?”
“Yes.”
“And you’re also saying you think Jonas is attractive and ‘well built’?”
