Elizabeth sat down in the driver’s seat of the van and leaned on the steering wheel as she peered out of the window at the forest. She was waiting for Sawyer to finish making something for them to eat, but it was far too cold to go out and explore even though she was going stir crazy in the tiny space and she was eager to see anything other than the same cramped space she was beginning to feel like she was trapped in while the others had the freedom to go out if they really wanted to. “It’s been a while since we were alone like this.” She span around in the chair to find Sawyer had climber into the passenger seat beside her while she was looking outside without her noticing. It didn’t bother her – she knew that it was against his nature to actively make himself heard when he moved.
