Francesca tried to give the others privacy as they walked through the forest. She hadn’t really wanted to go back, and she thought that Jonas would probably want more time to talk to his daughter, so she was unsure of what she would actually do when they got back.
She didn’t think that it would be appropriate to follow the others back into Valo’s house when that should be a moment they shared alone to talk about what had happened between them and what it would mean for their future, but she didn’t know anybody else and she didn’t think that their Alpha was going to be particularly accommodating if she showed up to talk to him unannounced - something which would probably upset her brother and Jonas, anyway.
