Lucian sat in his car outside the warehouse. Rain fell hard on the roof, soft and steady. Marco sat beside him. Vince and Dario waited in the other car. No one spoke. Lucian’s phone was on his lap. No new calls. No message. It had been two days since Elena went missing. He had searched every lead. Every dock. Every house tied to Lorenzo’s name. Nothing. He clenched his jaw and said, “He’s hiding her.” Marco looked at him. “Boss, we’ve checked all Lorenzo’s spots. No sign of her.” Lucian said coldly, “Then check again.” Marco sighed. “We did.
